MPCCC supports PhD candidate Trang Tran to present research at ENDO 2025
PhD candidate Trang Tran (supervised by A/Prof Simon Chu) recently travelled to San Francisco to attend ENDO 2025, the world’s largest meeting of endocrinologists, with support from the Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium (MPCCC).
Trang presented her PhD project investigating adult granulosa cell tumour, a rare type of endocrine-related ovarian cancer, and received valuable feedback and insights from leading endocrinologists.
She also participated in the Endocrine Mentoring Day, where she was paired with a mentor and fellow mentees to attend specialist sessions and networking activities.
“This was a great experience. I learnt a lot about the latest technologies and science, and built connections that will support my future research,” Trang said.
Alongside the conference, Trang enjoyed her first visit to the United States, including a trip to San Francisco’s famous Pier 39 to see the sea lions.
